Book Discussion
Four times during each year the Congregation has a discussion of a book, It might be a book of current interest, an old classic revisited, or from any genre; maybe sci-fi, a book revealing the awesome mysteries of nature, or something entirely different. Titles are suggested by participants. The current read is the 1619 Project, the history and impact of African descended people in America (currently, the most banned book in America). In many places this is forbidden to be read by children in this country. It has been removed from schools, libraries, and even burned. It may be the most important writing of our time and it’s easy reading.
The next discussion will be Thursday, Dec. 8 at 7:00pm via Zoom.
Information is on the Congregation’s Weekly Update.
