Adult Discussion Group
Sun | 9:30–10:30am in the Webb Room
The Charleston UU congregation has held a weekly discussion group open to all for over 50 years, which we believe to be the longest duration of a UU discussion group in the United States. Topics are widely varied, including science, history, politics (whether local, national or international), health, nutrition, ecology, psychology, race, gender issues, human relationships, nutrition and many many more. With the introduction of Zoom technology, participants have grown beyond our geographical region to include those from other states and, at times, other countries! Visit our group a few times to see if it is a good fit for you! Every week is a little different from the last. Everyone in the group has a voice and may express an opinion. All are welcome here, though we do ask for interactions to be respectful.
