At the end of each year we come together for this ritual of letting go and setting intention. The “burning bowl” is becoming a tradition for this time of year for Unitarian Universalist Congregations, and provides a way for us to mark the turning of the calendar year a sense of purpose and resolve. Children will do their own safer ritual in the blue room while adults do the fire based ritual with flash paper.
