Rev. Bruce Beisner
Across our nation, Unitarian Universalists are engaging in a process of developing new ways to express the core values of our religious movement. Rev. Bruce Beisner will talk about not only the words we use to define our shared principles but the ways we live them out in beloved community. Amid all our blessed diversity of identity, culture, and theologies, is it LOVE that has the power to bring us together? Is LOVE at the center of our faith? Does LOVE hold us accountable, inform our beliefs, and motivate us to action?
Rev. Bruce Beisner serves as Minister of All Peoples Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Louisville. Before being called to Kentucky in 2021, he led the Bay Area Unitarian Universalist Church in Houston, Texas for nine years. Bruce now lives near Churchill Downs with his husband Jim and their two basset hounds Rose and Lily. He grew up in Charleston and remains a proud West Virginian to this day.
